Khushali Kumar is an Indian performer and stylist who was born in New Delhi on December 19, 1988. As of 2024, she will be 36 years old. Her mother Sudesh Kumari Dua and late music mogul Gulshan Kumar Dua, the creator of the T-Series business, were Hindu Punjabi immigrants. She made her music video debut in the Bollywood song Mainu Ishq Da in 2015. Since then, she has made appearances in hit songs such as Highway Star, Raat Kamaal Hai, Mere Papa, and Ik Yaad Purani.
FAMILY/ HOUSE/ CAREER:
Father Gulshan Kumar and mother Sudesh Kumari Dua welcomed Khushali into their Hindu Punjabi household at birth. Bhushan Kumar and Tulsi Kumar are her two siblings.
Following her graduation from NIFT, Delhi, she went on to create clothing that was worn by several celebrities, including pop superstar Shakira, singer Leann Rimes, two-time Grammy Award winner Jenna Dewan Tatum, Spice Girl Melanie C, and Carmen Electra. She also created the music video for Justin Beiber’s song “Wait For a Minute.”
In the film Dahi Cheeni, starring R. Madhavan, Kumar will be making her debut as an actor in the character of an attorney.
Khushali made her music video debut with her sister Tulsi Kumar, who was singing in memory of her late dad Gulshan Kumar. With cameos in hit songs like “Highway Star,” “Raat Kamaal Hai,” “Mere Papa,” and “Ik Yaad Purani,” she cemented her position in the business while enthralling audiences with her charm and ability.
AWARDS:
Kumar starred in a few short films in 2018. Among them, Jeena Mushkil Hai Yaar was selected for a preview at film festivals including Life of Film Maker’s Session, Pinewood Studio’s UK, and the 9th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, where it was awarded the Honorable Jury Mention Award. For her role in the Hindi feature film Jeena Mushkil Hai Yaar, Khushali Kumar took home the Critic’s Choice Award at the Druk International Film Festival.
