Alia recently took to Instagram to mark her second year of marriage with Ranbir, drawing parallels with the enduring love story of Carl and Ellie from the movie “Up”.
In her Instagram post, Alia Bhatt posted two pictures. The first, a striking monochrome image featuring herself with Ranbir Kapoor, and the second, a snapshot of Carl and Ellie from the animated movie “Up”. She likened their journey together to that of Carl and Ellie, signifying their commitment to growing old together. Alongside the images, Alia wrote, “Happy 2 here’s to us my love… today & many many years from today.”

Their sentiment was clear: “We don’t desire a spectacle, nor do we wish to disclose it to anyone; we simply want to proceed.” The preceding chaos, fueled by memes and similar distractions, grew increasingly stressful. Thus, we maintained utmost secrecy, disguising it as an engagement. Shopping proved challenging; designated individuals were tasked with selecting and delivering items discreetly, as our movements risked exposing the impending nuptials. We felt confined, unable to take action freely.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor exchanged vows on April 14, 2022, and were blessed with their daughter, Raha Kapoor, on November 6, 2022.
