According to recent updates, the producers of the upcoming film Welcome To The Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar, are considering postponing its release date to avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par.
Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan, is eagerly awaited by fans and was originally slated for release during the Christmas 2024 weekend, setting up a potential clash with Aamir Khan‘s Sitaare Zameen Par. However, recent reports suggest that the makers are leaning towards delaying its release.
A report in Hindustan Times indicates that the decision to push the release date is due to extensive pending work on the film, which includes significant VFX requirements post the initial shoot that concluded last month in Aarey, Maharashtra.
A source close to the production mentioned, “The film has been crafted on a grand scale. The first schedule, a lengthy shoot, wrapped up in May with the entire star cast. However, there are more schedules planned, and substantial post-production work remains. As such, a December 20 release seems increasingly unlikely.”
If these reports hold true, Welcome To The Jungle may avoid a clash with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, providing relief to fans eager for both films.
