Luv Sinha has formally stated that he opted not to attend Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding alongside Zaheer Iqbal and communicated his intention to dodge certain people indefinitely.

Actress Sonakshi Sinha married her longtime companion Zaheer Iqbal on June 23, 2024. The private wedding ceremony was attended by her close friends and family members. Nevertheless, many videos and photos from their wedding have attracted significant attention online, primarily due to the absence of her brothers Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, sparking online discussion. When questioned about his absence, Luv Sinha informed the Hindustan Times to give him a day or two, mentioning that he would address all questions if he decided to do so.
Now, taking to Twitter, Luv Sinha finally addressed the ongoing issue and confirmed his position on not attending the wedding.
He wrote, “The reasons are quite clear as to why I didn’t attend and would not affiliate with certain individuals, regardless of circumstances. I’m pleased a member of the media did their research instead of relying on imaginative stories being put out by a PR team.”
Earlier, he also stated in another tweet that the news stories were carefully curated, focusing on his family affairs. He observed that there was no reference to the groom’s father’s connections to a politician, whose ED investigations had reportedly been resolved discreetly. Moreover, there was no mention of the groom’s father’s time spent in Dubai.

Notably, at Sonakshi’s wedding, Huma Qureshi’s brother and actor Saqib Saleem assumed the role of a supportive brother. In a video circulating online, Sonakshi was observed walking towards her husband under a traditional ‘Phoolon ki chaadar’, carried by her companions and Saqib.

On June 30, Luv Sinha turned to his Instagram to explain his reported absence from his sister Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to Zaheer Iqbal. Responding to critics, he mentioned that any online endeavors against him did not impact his priority for the family.
He wrote, “The rationale for my decision not to attend. Trying to run an online campaign against me based on false assumptions won’t change the fact that my family will always be my top priority.”

Kussh Sinha affirms he was in attendance at the wedding.
According to News, Kussh Sinha dismissed claims about his absence from the wedding. He attributed the spread of “incorrect information” to an article from a leading website citing an unnamed source.
Stating that it was a delicate period for the family, Kussh conveyed his preference for staying out of the public view. He stressed that while he might not have been as prominently showcased as other guests, he affirmed, “I am a private person, and just because I am not frequently seen doesn’t mean I wasn’t present.”
