The 2013 American film ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ was directed by Terence Winter.
The plot of the movie revolves around how Belfort’s business, Stratton Oakmont, engaged in widespread Wall Street corruption and fraud, which ultimately led to his collapse.

Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, and Kyle Chandler play the primary characters in the movie.

The movie had its New York City premiere on December 17, 2013, and Paramount Pictures released it nationwide on December 25.
During its theatrical run, it brought in $406.9 million worldwide, making it Scorsese’s highest-grossing movie to date.

Though the film‘s depiction of hard drug use, extreme profanity, explicit, graphic sexual content, use of animals during production, and moral ambiguity and lack of sympathy for victims all caused significant controversy when it was first released.
