Ananya Panday, whose dating rumors have been circulating on the internet, once expressed her dislike for the term “situationship” and mentioned she would never discuss her relationships publicly. Speaking to India Today in 2023, the actress revealed her disdain for “situationships” and emphasized that she does not use the term at all. She also shared that she is not active on any dating apps and refrains from discussing her personal relationships on social media.
She stated, “I’m not someone who will pretend to have a different relationship status just for the sake of social media.”
According to a report by the Bombay Times, Ananya is rumored to be dating Walker Blanco, a former model currently working for one of the Ambani properties, following her breakup with actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The report also dismissed rumors of her dating cricketer Hardik Pandya, despite the two being seen together at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
A source from the wedding revealed that Ananya introduced Walker as her partner at the event and did not try to hide their relationship. The source mentioned that many people saw them dancing to a romantic song together, although it might be too early to make their relationship official.
While Ananya has never officially confirmed any of her relationships, her two-year relationship with Aditya Roy Kapur was apparent through their public appearances and subtle hints. In the India Today interview, the 25-year-old actress described herself as a typical possessive girlfriend who dislikes her partner liking other girls’ attractive photos.
However, Ananya mentioned that this would not motivate her to create a fake Instagram account to stalk him or anyone else. When asked if she would create a fake account for stalking her ex or colleagues, she replied, “I have my own Instagram account for that. We don’t need a fake account.” Ananya also affirmed that she is not someone who would slide into someone’s DMs.
On the professional front, Ananya recently made a cameo in the film “Bad Newz,” starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. Her next appearance will be in Vikramaditya Motwane’s movie “CTRL,” set to release on October 4, 2024, on Netflix.
