Masaba Gupta is ready to step into the new chapter of parenthood as she and Satyadeep Misra await the arrival of their first child. The mom-to-be recently had a lavish baby shower, and now Rhea Kapoor has given fans an inside look at the event. Rhea shared photos that showcased the delectable food, stunning decor, and live music from the celebration. Masaba also added a playful touch with a humorous baby name suggestion in the comments.
On August 27, 2024, Rhea Kapoor posted several images from the baby shower on Instagram. The first slide featured a mouth-watering Parle-G pudding, followed by a picture of Masaba seated by lit candles, with her husband Satyadeep capturing the moment. Another image highlighted the balloon decorations and fun activities, including a board that had “Team Boy” and “Team Girl” written on it, with various names listed under each option. Rhea and Masaba also struck a pose together for a beautiful photo.
Rhea’s post also gave a closer look at the event’s food, showing a dining table adorned with white flowers, delicious pizza, and an array of desserts. The menu included Caesar Salad, different pasta sauces, burgers, French fries, and sweet potato fries. A video also captured a live musical performance featuring a singer and guitarist.
In her caption, Rhea wrote, “This friends group just entered our baby shower era. We love you @masabagupta and @instasattu. (love) sonam, Poojie, Rhea #masabababyshower.”
In the comments, Masaba humorously suggested naming her baby “Parle-G,” while Satyadeep expressed his gratitude, thanking Rhea, Sonam Kapoor, and Pooja Dhingra for making the event special.
The pizzeria responsible for the mouth-watering pizzas shared the full menu on their Instagram Stories, titled “Baby Slice Heaven,” which included Tie Die Pizza, Pepperoni, Spicy Marinara, Pizza Bianco, and Kale & Bacon. The caption read, “We swirled up this crazy pizza menu with the genius @rheakapoor for @masabagupta’s baby shower.”
In another story, Rhea posed with Masaba, who held a pizza plate in her hand, with Masaba noting on her Stories that she had a “45-minute discussion about the pizza,” indicating just how much she enjoyed it.
Masaba also expressed her appreciation for pastry chef Pooja Dhingra, who curated the dessert spread. Masaba posted a photo of Pooja with the desserts, praising her for creating a “surreal, decadent” dessert room featuring a variety of treats including baby macarons, Parsi dairy toffee, hazelnut tiramisu, and chocolate-dipped biscuits. Masaba jokingly mentioned Pooja’s mild trauma over the absence of a pink or blue theme, adding that she will cherish the memory forever.
