Now coming straight to the ending of Dunki, we see that, Manu Randhawa is an elderly, fugitive recovering from surgery in a hospital somewhere in London (UK) when he encounters Puru Patel who tells him about drafting of Endhiran regarding his young days involvement (shown as involved along with current PM). Puru then links through her with the ex-lover turned neighbour Hardayal “Hardy” Singh Dhillon in Laltu, Punjab. Her phone call will be a dream come true to Hardy after 25 years of waiting. She tells him to come and meet her in Dubai (Dubai, UAE) where he can take a p.c. that she needs to be dropped again at India by taking the Dunki route as an Indian visa is not touching base along with her army of Afghans!

Manu tells Hardy that she wants to return home because her brain tumour is killing her in the present. They try to exit the country in a cargo container destined for India, posing as illegal Indian immigrants bound for London; they plan on assuming the identity of their dead driving partners from their journey there so that immigration officials will deport them back to India. It is only when in Laltu that Manu discovers Hardy did not marry for love. However, before Hardy can ask for Manu’s hand in marriage, she passes away from her condition. Heartbroken Hardy gives Manu the engagement ring and a hug and cries his heart out. Hardy, Balli and Buggu receive an offer to go to London through Dunki after a few months Hardy slams the man to the ground and all three leave.
