A much-awaited 5-seater micro SUV Mahindra XUV 200 will be launched in India by the end of 2024 or early 2025. XUV 200 will come with both petrol and diesel variants, starting with a price tag of ₹7.95 lakh for the former and ₹8.75 lakh for the latter.
The Mahindra XUV 200 is expected to come with a 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine, all of which will be mated with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The ARAI-approved power output of the petrol engine will be 110 BHP and 200 NM torque. On the other hand, there will be an ARAI-approved power output of 115 BHP and 300 NM of torque in the case of the diesel engine.

As for the features, it is likely to have premium features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with rear parking sensors, reverse parking camera, and standard climate control, along with keyless entry and start power windows, and power mirrors. XUV 200 will also feature an array of safety measures including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Mahindra XUV 200 is available in multiple colours and will present a trendy appearance along with quite a stylish design. XUV 200 will be a compact SUV that can take up length, breadths, and height, respectively, of 3995 mm, 1821 mm, and 1667 mm. XUV 200 will come with a wheelbase of 2600 mm along with a ground clearance of 180 mm.
Overall, it will be a winner in the compact SUV segment with its long list of premium features, fascinating designs, and powerful powerplant options.
