Triptii Dimri is gearing up for the release of her next film, “Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,” where she stars alongside Rajkummar Rao. Recently, she made headlines with her energetic dance performance in the song “Mere Mehboob,” which sparked some criticism from viewers, particularly regarding the song’s signature dance move. The actress has now addressed this feedback, stating that she’s focused on exploring new avenues.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Triptii Dimri responded to the audience’s critique of “Mere Mehboob.” She explained, “As an actor, I’m striving to take on different challenges.” Triptii shared that it wasn’t until she experienced the reality of the industry that she realized an actor needs to be versatile—not just in acting but also in skills like dancing and walking confidently. She admitted that she wasn’t aware of this earlier, as she had never anticipated becoming an actor.

Triptii further mentioned that she feels it’s important to try everything, even if one might not excel in every aspect. “You can’t be perfect at everything, but there’s no harm in trying,” she said. She emphasized that she’s committed to giving her best, as she hasn’t come this far just to give up.
Reflecting on the song, Triptii mentioned that “Mere Mehboob” was her first dance number and that she hadn’t anticipated the kind of response it would generate during its shoot.
