Parle Products Private Limited is one of India’s largest companies, best known for its most iconic creation: Parle-G biscuits. It is a household name that has been there in Indian homes for decades. What’s even more astonishing is that these biscuits still sell for only 5 rupees—a price that hasn’t changed in years.

The Actress: Anurima Chakraborty
The girl playing the cheerleader in the ad is actually Anurima Chakraborty. She has been making all the headlines recently for her charming looks and lively energy. Her face has been appearing quite often so it seems to be popping up on several other commercials, so fans dub her the “National Crush.”
Anurima is an actress and model associated with a few of the popular brands: Tata Neu, Samsung, Pizza Hut, KFC, and GM Luxury Home Decor. Being a Parle brand ambassador has given her one more feather on her cap. With 28.6k followers on Instagram, as of May 2024, she is quite in the spotlight these days.
THE BROTHER: Tej Sapru
The “uncle” who happens to be a student in the advertisement is Tej Sapru, the most popular Bollywood villain actor. Tej has appeared in several blockbuster films, including Tridev, Tezaab, Gupt, and Sirf Tum. He is a constant actor between Bollywood and Tollywood in movies during the 1980s through the 2010s.
Tej Sapru is also not hesitant with social media either, with about 18.5k Instagram followers.
Information Advertisment Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga is more than 24 seconds and was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Parle on 23rd March 2024. This ad, from Sukriti Tyagi’s direction, is about products like Parle Full Toss Baked Snacks, Parle Oats and Berries Biscuits, and Parle Monaco Piri Piri. “Something New, Something Modern” is the theme.
