Ranvir Shorey was born on August 18, 1972, in Jalandhar, Punjab, and comes from a family with a cinematic background, as his father is a film director. He relocated to Mumbai primarily due to financial circumstances. Ranvir Shorey’s father lost out at work in the Bollywood industry. He received his education at school in Mumbai, and his interest in acting was keen where he plays a major role in the school and college dramas. Shorey dropped out from Mithibai College in the second year, then took diplomas in film production from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, and Digital Film Academy, New York.

Career and Success

He began his career with a talk show in 1993 and then entered the silver screen with Ek Chotisi Love Story in 2002. He became people’s favorite with the comedy in 2006 called Khosla Ka Ghosla.
