Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again delivers the high-energy thrills expected from his successful Cop Universe, complete with Ajay Devgn’s intense slow-motion entries, a star-studded cast, a formidable (if exaggerated) villain, and a storyline where good triumphs over evil. Adding a unique twist, the film draws on the Ramayana as a parallel to DCP Bajirao Singham’s (Ajay Devgn) latest mission, with Singham’s character reflecting Lord Ram.
In Singham Again, Shetty introduces a fresh storyline as the fiercely loyal DCP Singham sets off on a rescue mission after his wife, Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan), is abducted by Danger Lanka, a criminal mastermind played by Arjun Kapoor (paralleling Raavan). Avni, who is seen hosting a Ram Leela play, becomes the target of Danger Lanka, sending Singham on a mission alongside his cop allies to bring her back.
Singham Again’s Explosive Ending — Does Singham Defeat Danger Lanka?
Following an attack on his protégé Satya Bali’s (Tiger Shroff’s character mirroring Laxman) home, Avni is taken hostage. Danger Lanka, whose real identity is Zubair Hafeez, the grandson of terrorist Omar Hafeez (Jackie Shroff), kidnaps Avni and demands a trade—Omar’s release in exchange for her freedom. Zubair allows Simmba (Ranveer Singh, channeling Hanuman) to visit Avni and verify her safety. Despite being outnumbered, Simmba narrowly escapes, sabotaging Zubair’s hideout in the process.
Singham and Simmba ultimately infiltrate Zubair’s base in Sri Lanka to free Avni, but soon find themselves captured. Just as Zubair prepares to claim victory, Shakti Shetty, also known as Lady Singham (Deepika Padukone), and Satya arrive to turn the tide. Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi (symbolizing Garuda) then joins, and together, they defeat Zubair’s crew and rescue Avni.
Despite escaping momentarily, Zubair faces Singham in an intense final showdown, which ends with his defeat. Singham and Avni return to India, celebrating their victory at the Ram Leela.
Don’t Miss the Post-Credits Scene in Singham Again

The post-credits scene adds another dimension to Shetty’s universe with the arrival of Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey. In a brief but impactful sequence, Chulbul enters Singham’s office, eager to join the “Shiva Squad” on their next mission, leaving fans with a teaser for Mission Chulbul Singham, starring both Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn.
Overall, Singham Again showcases Shetty’s signature style, with larger-than-life action overlaying dramatic dialogue. From flying cars to gravity-defying stunts—like Tiger Shroff’s iconic “Flying Kick,” the film is an unapologetic spectacle. It is a film that you will cheer or repeat Singham’s iconic line “Aata Maazhi Satakli”.
