Cheteshwar Pujara was born in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, on January 25, 1988. He had a flair for cricket, starting playing for his school and community teams at the age of 10.
Cheteshwar Pujara Career:
He started early in 2005 when he played his debut Under-19 Test match for India against England.
In that match, he scored 211 runs, and India won comfortably. He had then been awarded an Indian place in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and he went on to become the highest scorer with 349 runs during that particular tourney, which included three half-centuries and a ton and was declared the Player of the Tournament. Pujara’s skills do not stop there. He has constantly shone in domestic cricket, especially the Ranji Trophy for Saurashtra.
