Shubman Gill has been consistent right from his debut on the international scene and is remarkably fit across all formats. The 25-year-old youngster has already started showing much promise for Team India, and some experts forecast that he will be the future of Indian cricket. The right-handed opener debuted in the ODI format against New Zealand in January 2019 and went on to make a Test debut against Australia in December 2020. Adaptation across formats along with potent shot selection is making for a player of immense potential.

Technical and mobile skills
Gill has been a treat to watch for cricket fans because of his batting technique. Driving on the up, forward, and backward punches and perfect cuts and pulls- Gill has developed himself as someone who can play all strokes in the book. And that makes him a definite plank of India’s batting order after some years.
