At present, Alia Bhatt is one of the leading and most popular actresses in Hindi film industry. She recently finished shooting for Alpha for YRF’s Spy Universe and immediately moved onto Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Love and War, which will also feature Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alia has blocked most of her dates till November 2025 owing to this project, and she is already looking for her next venture. According to exclusive information, she is currently in talks with Dinesh Vijan for a new project.
According to a source, Alia has been visiting the Maddock Films office to discuss a psychological supernatural thriller. “Alia has been working out some films with Dinesh Vijan, and it’s almost time for that collaboration. She has become very keen about a psychological supernatural thriller that she is really looking forward to as her next big-screen entertainer after Love and War. The talks are moving forward, with a formal agreement expected sometime in Q1 2025,” said a source privy to the developments.
The project has yet to be christened; for now, it goes under the title Chamunda. That has a major part in the story, which is still being developed. “Alia is thrilled about teaming up with Maddock Films for this movie, which has the potential to establish a new cinematic universe parallel to Maddock’s existing horror-comedy universe featuring Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Thamma. This new universe may also include stars like Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani,” the source added.
