Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood’s iconic superstar, is admired not only for his exceptional acting but also for his unwavering commitment to his family. Similarly, his wife, Gauri Khan, is celebrated for her ability to balance work and family life seamlessly. Recently, Gauri shared her perspective on prioritizing family time, emphasizing that for her, Mannat is more than just a house—it’s a sanctuary filled with love, peace, and inspiration.
In an interview with ETimes, Gauri was asked if managing work and family had become easier now that her children were older. It has always been easy for her to maintain work-life balance, she mentioned because of the stout support of her family.

She emphasized discipline and the importance of organization, saying family time is also important to her, which she plans her work schedule around. Gauri said, “I make family time my priority and schedule my meetings accordingly, and it has worked wonderfully for me.”
Speaking about their iconic home, Mannat, Gauri shared how much it truly means to her as an individual as well as the family. It is not so much a house; Mannat, according to him, is a place filled with memories, love, and the essence of our journey as a family. She further expressed that in the house, her favorite part is its library because for her, it is quite a peaceful and inspiring retreat.

He is a well-known actor in this world, and nothing else can be said to him. While issuing a strong disclaimer over all such things, reports have been rife about an extravagant addition plan for Mannat. “The King” extension actually up and beyond for an estimated costing of 25 crores, according to reports. A Times Now report said that Gauri applied to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) in November 2024, seeking permission to carry out the ambitious project.
The proposal was under the MCZMA consideration at the meeting that was held on 10 and 11 December. Naseem, originally built in 1914, now covers an area of 2091.38 sq. meters and boasts of a six-story modern structure. If approved, the addition of a seventh and eighth floor will further enhance its grandeur.

On the working front, Shah Rukh Khan will be starting to shoot for King, a fast-paced thriller directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand as well as Gauri Khan. This thing is special, as it’s the first time Shah Rukh and his daughter would be sharing screen space together. This movie will also feature Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma in key roles.
Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan also lent his voice to that which is called the Hindi version of The Lion King as expected, as probably everyone knows already, for release on December 20, 2024.
