Ambazari Police Station was established on November 21, 1960. It is a significant police station in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Situated at Amravati Road in Ravi Nagar of Civil Lines, it works 24/7 to provide security and safety for the people in the area.

The jurisdiction area of Ambazari Police Station comprises Futala Lake, Ambazari Lake, the University Campus, Law College, Gokulpeth Market, Ram Nagar Market, and residential quarters of several judges of the High Court.
As on March 2021, Senior Police Inspector Narendra Krishnarao Hivare, a batch of 1993 officer was in charge with 103 staff members and 12 officials in the station. They have also collaborated with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) to improve infrastructure around the lake premises. Repeat offenders are checked from time to time so that the menace is under check and security within the place could be created amongst the citizens. The police took stern action which included externment of goons to secure the community at large.
A notable example is that of Senior Inspector Vinayak Golhe from Ambazari Police Station, who rescued and helped reunite a man with his family after 29 years, exemplifying the commitment of the station to humanitarian efforts.
