The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup was first launched in 2007, and from then, a number of teams of different countries have been fighting for themselves to play at the world level. 2007 Inaugural Tournament

•2021 (UAE and Oman): Finally, Australia win the T20 World Cup with the support of Mitchell Marsh and David Warner.
•2022 (Australia): England ended as the champion of the second T20 World Cup, dancing onto the field with Jos Buttler and Sam Curran.
2024 T20 World Cup
The 2024 edition took place in West Indies and United States. A competition of this many teams indicated that cricket had won over the whole international turf.
Some of the notable teams that were a part of that tournament include:
- India: It was led by Rohit Sharma, including both old-timers and new gen players such as Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and many more.
- England: Jos Buttler led the side, balancing old-timers such as Moeen Ali with new faces in the team to keep the balance of competition going.
- United States: Co-Hosting the T20 World Cup, USA played their first-ever T20 World Cup, with a side which included Monank Patel Aaron Jones, and former New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson.
