Family Background
Axar Patel was born to a middle-class Gujarati family that always reminded him of hard work and dedication. His biggest motivator, however, was his father, Rajesh Patel, who kept pushing him for excellence in cricket despite his early reservations about it. His mother, Pritiben Patel, had envisioned Axar as an engineer, but once they understood his potential in cricket, she supported him without any reservations.

Sibling: A Source of Comfort Support System
Axar Patel is not the first born for his Patel family as well. He is the youngest of three brothers, and his two older siblings had been relentless in urging him to be a cricketer since he can think. Sanship Patel, Axar’s brother, has played a very crucial role in developing Axar as a cricketer. During his childhood days, the brothers were very close to each other and used to play sports, motivating each other to push the limits. Though Sanship never became a professional cricketer, Sanship was always convinced of Axar, which kept Axar focused on his objectives.
Except his brother, he also has an elder sister of his name, Shivangi Patel. They have always supported him emotionally, so he has been kept motivated up and down when the career really asked for it in tough times.
In any close-knit family, Shivangi supported her brother Axar, during good times when his success could be celebrated but also during worst moments when encouragement for the sibling was needed.
