The industry is very competitive where only a few ladies feature on top and hundreds are hoping to leave an iota of existence. Many years back when heroines made their debuts quite in a splutter but fizzled out of sight, mainly because of appalling acting or worst script selection or simply that matter had never ever managed to bring even slightest emotional feeling out of minds of audiences.

Now, this article brings before your eyes list of top 10 flop Bollywood heroines up until 2025:

- Sharmin Segal
Sharmin Segal is the niece of the genius Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She entered the industry with Malaal in 2019. This one was a Bhansali product, though it faced utter failure at the box office. Her acting was alleged to be unemotional and hollow. Neither of her films, once released, drew attention to her. She still remains one of the industry’s forgettable names. - Athiya Shetty
Athiya Shetty is daughter of Suniel Shetty who was pretty decent in Salman Khan’s produced movie Hero (2015) but never impressive there. She lacked required power in acting also. Numbers of attempts in films like Mubarakan (2017) and Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019) didn’t give enough scope to Athiya in the Bollywood. - Manushi Chhillar
Former Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar entered Bollywood opposite Akshay Kumar in Samrat Prithviraj (2022). She could not get good scripts and could not make herself a heroine. - Nargis Fakhri She only comes intermittently in the world of cinema to make herself irrelevant to it.
5. Daisy Shah:

Launched by Salman Khan in Jai Ho (2014), Daisy Shah never proved to be a brilliant actress on-screen.
6. Sonal Chauhan

Sonali Chauhan was promising with Jannat (2008) along with Emraan Hashmi. But she could never have a successful career. She didn’t get the meaty roles she deserved, and her later films that were not so great did not help her career either.
- Esha Gupta
Althought Esha Gupta is beauty par excellence, it did not see her making some mark in the Bollywood. Thereafter from there, in career, only going downhill from there as opening was decent along with Jannat 2 of 2012 and Raaz 3 of 2012, especially with these films like Humshakals of 2014 and Rustom, 2016 - Zareen Khan
Zareen Khan was first described as Katrina Kaif’s look-alike when she first appeared in the film Veer 2010 but did not impress audiences and some forays into such films as Hate Story 3, 2015 did not place her in a meaningful way within Bollywood. - Adah Sharma
Although she does have one sure-shot hit to her credit in The Kerala Story (2023), movies like 1920 (2008), Commando (2013) and more remain forgettable for Adah Sharma whose non-variety and excellent performances have deprived her of limelight stardom. - Bhagyashree’s Daughter – Avantika Dassani
Avantika Dassani is Bhagyashree’s daughter. She hailed from the popular 90’s actress. She was an actress too. However, an actress could not create any identity and forgot to feature in a few minor performances.

These came promising to Bollywood but faded into oblivion of their own making whether it was bad script selection or a bad ability to enact or generally a lack of presence of the screen. Only time will tell as the landscape of Bollywood continues to shift and sees what is waiting for it in the coming times.
