” Siragadikka Aasai”( meaning” The Desire to Fly”) is a Tamil- language TV drama series that was vented on Star Vijay on January 23, 2023. Produced by Radhika Srinivasan and B. Srinivasan of Vikatan Televistas, it can also be streamed on JioHotstar.

Plot Overview
The story is about Meena, the eldest son of a lower- middle- class family who runs a flower cube with her parents near a tabernacle. Her life takes an intriguing turn when she’s forced to marry Muthukumar, known as Muthu, an eccentric hack motorist who has a problem with drunkenness. Their relationship, originally full of misconstructions and conflicts, starts to understand each other over time. They face all these challenges together, from fiscal struggles and social pressures, and demonstrate a path of tone- enhancement and support for one another.

Casting
Gomathi Priya was assigned the womanish supereminent part of Meena following her assignment of the part of Valli in Velaikkaran, while freshman Vetri Vasanth played the manly supereminent part of Muthukumar, with fame achieved through his numerous short flicks which were well entered by the youngish audience.R. Sundarrajan played Annamalai and returns to Tamil television after a three- time hiatus. Anila Sreekumar was brought in to play Vijaya, who returned to Vijay television after she had worked before on Paavam Ganesan and Kaatrin Mozhi on the channel. Narasimha Raju, Yogesh, and Tamilselvi were picked to play supporting places. Pranav Mohan took Yogesh’s place as Ravi, following Yogesh’s exit from the show for particular reasons. In January 2024, actor Jayamani joins the cast to play Rohini’s pretender father.
