Plot Summary
The protagonist of the series is Dali, played by Katha Chakraborty, whose mother, Jharna, had worked as a maid for the Mukherjee family before being wrongfully imprisoned for stealing and leaving Dali to be raised by the family. Dali seeks to protect the Mukherjees from bad things happening to them as she matures. The family’s adversary is business tycoon Raktim Debbarman (played by Samrat Mukherji), who scammed them out of a sizable amount of ownership of their family’s estates. Dali proposes to Raktim, provided that he restores any properties that he wrongfully acquired and did so on behalf of the Mukherjees. The series continues as Dali balances her new matrimonial issues with seeking restitution for her mother.
