Kajol is a celebrated Indian actress . She achieved great fame for her character Simran Singh in the 1995 movie “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.” Kajol, originally named Kajol Mukherjee, was born on August 5, 1974, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Among her companions, she is lovingly called Kads. Kajol’s enthusiasm for performing and dancing grew from an early age. Cared for by her maternal grandmother following her parents’ split, she followed her passion for the entertainment field.

At sixteen, Kajol began her acting career and chose to leave school to pursue being a full-time actress. She attained impressive success early in life. Hailing from a cinematic family, Kajol’s mother, Tanuja Samarth, is an actress, and her late father, Shomu Mukherjee, was a director and producer in films.
