Early Life and Education

Prerana Kambam was born in Telangana’s Hyderabad, India on June 18, 1996. She attended Dayananda Sagar College in Bengaluru and achieved a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial and Management Engineering.
Family

Prerana has a supportive family background. Her father, Purushottam, works for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and her mother, Roopa, is an administrator at a college.

Career

Prerana began her acting career in 2017 with the Kannada TV serial “Hara Hara Mahadev”. She gained popularity with the role Nakshatra in the Kannada TV series “Ranganayaki” (2019–2020). She made her debut on Telugu television with the serial “Krishna Mukunda Murari” (2022), where she portrayed the central character Krishna.   

Apart from television, Prerana was seen in some Kannada films, including:
• “Churikatte” (2018)
• “Aana” (2021)
• “Physics Teacher” (2022)
•”Pentagon” (2023)

In 2024, she also appeared on Bigg Boss Telugu Season 8, speaking openly about personal issues, such as her childhood episode of kleptomania.

Personal Life

Prerana married Shripad Deshpande in 2023. Her marriage was a sensational affair, with pictures widely shared through the media.
