Vaibhav Suryavanshi, born on 27th March 2011, in Bihar’s Motipur village, Samastipur, has risen through the ranks of Indian cricket quickly to become one of its brightest young stars. His father, Sanjiv Suryavanshi, was the son of a small farmer and made tremendous personal sacrifices, including the selling of land, to enable Vaibhav’s cricketing dreams.

Early Career and Becoming Famous
Vaibhav started playing cricket at a young age, and at 12 years of age, stunned everyone by scoring a century on his first match in a U-19 Youth Test match vs. Australia. His performance did not stop astounding, and the Rajasthan Royals selected him in the 2025 IPL auction for ₹1.1 crore, the youngest player ever to be bought in an IPL auction.
IPL Entry and Achievements
Vaibhav played his IPL debut on 19th April 2025 and impressed with a six off the very first ball he received. He finished on 252 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 206.56. To the surprise of all, he became the youngest player ever to have achieved a T20 century, having achieved it in 35 balls, the second-fastest hundred in IPL history.
