Early Life and Background

Masoom Sharma, who also goes by the name Aarya Masoom Sharma, is a very well-known Haryanvi singer and performer, known for his powerful folk voice and great stage presence. Born into this world on 27th March 1991 in Brahmanwas, a village in Jind district of Haryana, Masoom spent his formative years in a very cultural setting, which in turn shaped his musical path from a very young age.

After completing local school, he went on to pursue higher studies at Kurukshetra University and also attended the State Institute of Film and Television in Rohtak, which is where he developed his voice and performed in various arts.

Personal Life and Family

Masoom Sharma is of a traditional Haryanvi background. He is married to Rimpi Sharma and they have two children, a son named Netritv and a daughter who was born in 2020. Also, he has two brothers, Vikas Sharma, who is very much into local politics and Deepak Sharma. Although very famous, Masoom keeps his personal life very private and very much tied to his hometown.

Physical Appearance

Masoom is of height 5 feet 11 inches and weight 70 kg. He has dark brown hair and black eyes, which are very expressive, and he projects a very commanding yet approachable persona, which connects with his audience.

Musical Journey and Breakthrough

Masoom Sharma started out on the stage and in ragni (Haryanvi folk) music. In 2009, he released “Jalwa Haryana”, which marked his entry into the music industry. Although at the time his work wasn’t very recognised, it did set the stage for what was to come.
