Early Life and Background
Sudhakar grew up in a family that was highly involved in the game in the kabaddi-crazy village of Palayanallur in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. His four elder brothers and his father all played kabaddi.
His first exposure to kabaddi was by accident: in his eleventh grade, he went with a friend to a game in a nearby village and was summoned to play on a last-minute cancellation. He found his calling and scored four pivotal points during that day.

In his first game, he accounted for 11 of the team’s 46 points and earned thunderous applause from fans.
Sudhakar helped the Pirates advance to the semifinals by scoring 105 points in 19 matches and claiming three Super 10s towards the end of the season.
