Karthikeya Dev is a young actor out of the Telugu film industry who has seen him become one of the most promising child artists in South Indian cinema. From a Telugu-speaking Hindu background, he has had a passion for acting from a very young age. His mother, Kavitha Podilapu, has been a rock for him through his journey, while his younger sister is by his side at shoots and events. Not much is known of his father’s background, but Karthikeya’s family has been the base that has supported the early stages of his career.

Career and Filmography

Karthikeya Dev started his acting career in the child artist category and soon won over audiences with his emotive performances and stage presence. He had his first big break in the 2023 film “Salaar”, which was the younger version of Varadharaja Mannar. Also, what he did came very naturally to him, which in turn impressed the audience and critics.

Following this, he appeared in “L2: Empuraan” in which he took on the role of Young Zayed Masood. His performance brought out great depth in a character that is beyond his years and which, in turn, secured his status as a reliable young talent.
