Early Life and Background

Born in Pona, a town in the Jagraon area of Ludhiana in Punjab, Rajvir Jawanda spent his formative years in a home that had a strong base in public service. His father, Karam Singh Jawanda, and mother, Paramjeet Kaur, brought home the values of our culture. From a young age, Raj also identified with his Sikh Jat heritage, which is very much present in his music and the projects he chooses.

Rajvir finished his primary education at Sanmati Vimal Jain School in Jagraon, which was followed by his move to Ludhiana for higher studies.
