Early Life and Military Background
Born in 1981 on October 6 in the village of Khilwadi in the Rohtak district of Haryana, Ajay Hooda was brought up in a traditional middle-class Haryanvi home. In a setting that lived and breathed local culture, he, at a young age, showed strong signs of discipline.
This discipline, in turn, led him to join the Indian Army. In the field of service, which was his life for a while, Hooda says it was in the military that he found the base for his work ethics, mental resilience and physical fitness. After he left the armed forces, honours and all, he went into the world of performing arts, which is where he has had his great love for writing, acting and music. Also, to support his transition into this new profession, he went back to school and graduated from Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut.
