Kayadu Lohar sort of has been building a decent spot in Indian cinema; she started off as a model, then drifted into films across several languages. Her role in the Tamil film Dragon gave her that bigger recognition, and after that, newer projects basically kept dragging her name into people’s feeds, you know. Now, with a filmography that keeps widening across Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and even Marathi, it feels like she’s laying down a route that isn’t tied to just one industry or one language, generally speaking.
Kayadu Lohar Biography and Age
Kayadu Lohar was born on 11 April 2000, and she grew up in Pune, Maharashtra, after spending her earlier years in Assam. She is 26 years old in 2026 and will turn 27 in April 2027. For education, she finished her studies in Pune, and she earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Before films, she got attention via modelling, plus the Times of India’s Fresh Face competition, that kind of thing, like a stepping stone.
Height and Weight
Kayadu’s height is usually shown as 5 feet 6 inches (168 cm), though online profiles don’t fully match, so it can vary a bit. Her weight is often estimated around 52–55 kg, but she has not confirmed any official figure. So these are estimates, because measurements can shift over time.
Family and Personal Life
Kayadu has family connections linked to Assam, and she grew up in Pune. In public bios, her parents are mentioned as Mohanlal Lohar and Sunita Lohar, and her brother is Udai Lohar. She keeps her personal life somewhat private, and most of the attention stays fixed on her acting. Also, there’s no clearly confirmed information in public sources saying she is married, so nothing is solidly verified, and that’s it.
Movies and Career in 2026–27
Kayadu made her debut in Kannada with the romantic drama Mugilpete in 2021. Then she appeared in Pathonpatham Noottandu and Alluri in 2022, and in 2023 she featured in the Marathi film I Prem U.
Her bigger breakthrough, with a wider audience reach, came through Dragon (2025), where she played Pallavi opposite Pradeep Ranganathan. For 2026, her listed credits include Funky, Pallichattambi, Idhayam Murali, I’m Game, Immortal and The Paradise. In The Paradise, she plays Subbalakshmi, also called Subbu, alongside Nani. Listings also mention Thaaram and Suriya 48 for upcoming work, but plans can change, so schedules could move.
Additional Information
Her career path looks like a gradual move from modelling into lead roles across different regional spaces. She has also shared that she chooses projects based on how important her character is, not only because the film is bigger in size or has more hype around it.
My Personal Favourite
Honestly, Kayadu’s journey feels engaging because she has tried multiple film industries, instead of locking herself to just one language. Her work in Dragon helped bring her to a wider audience, and her 2026 projects have opened doors for fresh kinds of roles and new character shades too. Her next roles are the ones to keep an eye on, because her career is still growing and shaping up, step by step.
