She turned 18 in August 2026. Her family later moved to Mumbai, where she began acting as a child artist. Her full name is reported as Arista Singh Mehta, and she is nicknamed Arshu.
Family
Her mother is Madhu Mehta, and she has a brother named Zubin Mehta. The family moved to Mumbai for work and better opportunities, and they have backed her acting from the start. Arista keeps her personal life private, and there are no public reports of any relationship.
Career
Her first role was as a child artist in the Star Bharat series Kya Haal, Mr. Paanchal? She also appeared in ads for brands like Vaseline, Cadbury, Classmate, Samsung and Rin.
Streaming gave her a bigger audience. In 2021 she played Rohini in the Netflix series Decoupled, which starred R. Madhavan and Surveen Chawla. Some profiles also credit her with the role of Safina Kidwai in The Night Manager on Disney Hotstar.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she said acting only felt like a real calling once she turned 14. She spent much of her teenage years, from 12 to 18, on film and TV sets. Over that time, she says, acting went from being fun to something she takes seriously and keeps working on.
