Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, showcased a remarkable resurgence at the box office during its seventh day, amassing a substantial Rs 17 crore in earnings. This surge contributed to the film’s cumulative domestic collection, which now stands at an impressive Rs 217.90 crore.

Despite encountering a mid-week box office lull, Tiger 3 rebounded over the weekend, surpassing initial estimates from industry tracker Sachnilk. On Saturday, the film achieved an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 21.32 percent, with night shows witnessing a peak occupancy of 30.82 percent. Tiger 3 has also achieved notable success on a global scale, accumulating a total worldwide collection of Rs 322 crore.
The film kicked off its theatrical run with a strong debut, garnering Rs 44.5 crore on the opening day. While it maintained momentum initially, a 50 percent decline was observed on the fourth day, resulting in a collection of Rs 21.1 crore. Subsequent days, Thursday and Friday, saw further declines, with earnings of Rs 18.5 crore and Rs 13.25 crore, respectively.Nevertheless, the movie regained momentum during its inaugural Saturday.
In terms of critical reception, an editor from the Indian Express awarded the film 2.5 stars. She noted, She observed, “Following the dazzling start filled with star power and the sparkling chemistry between Salman and Katrina, the narrative in the second half settles into somewhat foreseeable patterns, occasionally flickering to life.” Despite the weighty questions, the film seems to miss the opportunity for a climactic moment featuring Salman without his shirt, a signature Bhai moment that could have heightened the impact of the narrative.”

Tiger 3 marks the third installment in the Tiger franchise, following Ek Tha Tiger (2012) by Kabir Khan and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) by Ali Abbas Zaffar. Additionally, it serves as the fifth entry in the expansive YRF Spy Universe, which includes other high-profile films like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War.
