Ranbir Kapoor, currently in the midst of promoting his upcoming film “Animal,” recently featured on “Unstoppable with NBK” alongside Rashmika Mandanna. During the episode, Ranbir proudly displayed his latest tattoo on his collarbone, bearing the name “Raha,” in honor of his daughter. Born in November 2022, Raha Kapoor is the cherished child of Ranbir and his wife, actor Alia Bhatt.
This isn’t Ranbir’s first foray into tattoos. Prior to the release of his film “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani,” he inked the word ‘Awaara’ in Hindi on his wrist. The tattoo echoed the character he portrayed in the movie, epitomizing a love for a vagabond-like lifestyle. Interestingly, “Awaara” was also the title of one of Raj Kapoor’s iconic films, and Ranbir is the grandson of the legendary actor. However, in 2022, Ranbir mentioned to Mashable India that he had no tattoos, expressing uncertainty about the prospect and hinting that if he were to get one, it might involve his children’s names.
While Ranbir and Alia have refrained from sharing images of their daughter, they have been proactive in safeguarding her privacy. They have explicitly requested photographers in Mumbai not to capture their daughter, emphasizing their commitment to shielding her from undue public attention. Alia addressed this during a recent appearance at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, emphasizing that their intention was not to hide their daughter but to safeguard her from premature exposure on social media. Alia asserted, “We are proud of our baby,” explaining that the initial decision stemmed from being new parents and grappling with the idea of their infant’s images being widely circulated.
Reflecting on fatherhood, Ranbir Kapoor expressed profound joy, stating, “I have never felt like this ever in my life. It is pure joy. I just want to be at home,All I yearn for is to find myself at home, immersed in her company. The idea of avoiding work, sidestepping any obligations, is tempting. Nevertheless, the reality is inescapable; such a retreat is not feasible. Despite the challenge of articulating it adequately, the emotion within me is beyond words — an inexplicable sensation that truly stands as the most gratifying feeling in the world!”
