Vikram Kochhar Reflects on SRK’s Reaction During Slap Scene
In a recent interview with VS Talks, Vikram Kochhar, portraying the character Buggu in “Dunki,” shared insights into a slap scene that left Shah Rukh Khan amused. The scene involves Vikram’s on-screen mother, played by Sapna Sand, delivering a powerful slap. Recalling the behind-the-scenes moment, Kochhar described Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction, saying, “As Shah Rukh sir stood behind the camera, he found it challenging to contain his laughter. In the quiet atmosphere of the set, the impact of the slap echoed loudly, and there he was, behind the scenes, laughing while not in front of the camera but positioned behind it.”
Encouraged by Shah Rukh Khan’s laughter, Kochhar requested Sapna to repeat the slap, saying, “After the first slap, she became self-aware, but she went on to deliver 2-3 more. I reassured her, saying it’s alright. If Shah Rukh sir can find it amusing here, the audience will too. Let’s proceed.”
Vikram Kochhar’s Experience at SRK’s Mannat
In an interview with Home Bollywud, Kochhar shared his experience of visiting Mannat after being cast in “Dunki.” He highlighted the presence of robots at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, describing it as a comfortable space. The actor mentioned that SRK provided detailed information about the robots to his guests and ensured a hospitable environment. Kochhar also noted that SRK’s youngest son AbRam personally served him cake during the visit. He added that Mannat maintained airport-like security.
