Shahid Kapoor’s recent film, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” seamlessly blends romantic comedy with science fiction, creating a captivating viewing experience, particularly fitting for this Valentine’s week. Directed and written by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the movie features a stellar cast including Kriti Sanon, Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, Rajesh Kumar, and Rakesh Bedi. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” centers on a robotics engineer who develops feelings for a young woman, unaware until later that she is, in reality, a humanoid robot.

In “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,” the character Sifra is programmed to comprehend Aryan’s emotions and respond accordingly. However, her learning process involves recording decisions and subsequently deleting unnecessary files from her memory. This results in her malfunctioning when the electric port she uses to charge short-circuits at a wedding venue. Consequently, she unwittingly resumes previously canceled tasks, causing chaos such as filing a police report for a stolen tomato, pushing a neighbor off a rooftop, and performing a sensual dance in front of the family, which were initially intended as jokes.
Unable to control Sifra, Aryan fails to prevent her from carrying out her last canceled task, which involves attempting to set Delhi ablaze. Despite Aryan’s attempts to deactivate her, Sifra continues her destructive rampage until Aryan intervenes, managing to turn her off before further chaos ensues.

The aftermath of Sifra’s malfunction unfolds six months later, with Aunt Urmila unveiling an upgraded version of Sifra alongside other robots. At the launch event, Aryan encounters a woman named Riya, whose romantic ideals resonate with his own. Despite still grappling with his feelings for Sifra, Aryan agrees to a date with Riya. However, his friend suggests that Sifra exhibits signs of jealousy towards his interaction with Riya, despite being a robot. Aryan dismisses this notion, believing that Aunt Urmila has erased all memories of him from Sifra’s system. The film concludes with Aryan and Sifra sharing a meaningful glance, hinting at a complex emotional connection that transcends mere programming.
