Nazriya Nazim, an Indian actress renowned for her work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, was born on December 20, 1994, in Trivandrum, Kerala, to Nazimudeen and Begum Beena. Her father is a businessman, while her mother is a homemaker. Nazriya has a younger brother named Naveen Nazim. She attended Our Own English High School in Al Ain, UAE, for her early education and later Christ Nagar Senior Secondary School in Trivandrum.

Nazriya embarked on her career as a child anchor on television, notably hosting shows like “Punyamaasathiloode,” “Shruthilayam,” “Munch star singer junior,” and “Star Singer,” along with appearances in Asianet Film Awards. Her acting journey began with her role as a child artist in the Malayalam drama “Palunku” (2006), directed by Blessy, alongside actors like Mammootty and Lakshmi Sharma.

Transitioning to lead roles, Nazriya made her debut in “Maad Dad” (2013), directed by Revathy S Varmha, starring Lal, Meghana Raj, Lalu Alex, Padmapriya, and Pooja Gandhi. She has also showcased her singing talents in films like “Salalah Mobiles” and “Bangalore Days.”

Nazriya’s personal life grabbed attention when she met Fahadh Faasil on the set of “Bangalore Days,” leading to their engagement in February 2014 and marriage on August 21, 2014, in Thiruvananthapuram. Her decision to prioritize family over her acting career post-marriage drew significant interest.
Beyond her professional achievements, Nazriya is recognized for her philanthropic endeavors, including her advocacy for animal adoption. Despite her relatively short career span, she has amassed a substantial following on social media platforms like Facebook, with over 7 million followers.
In terms of controversies, Nazriya made headlines when she lodged a complaint against the filmmakers of “Naiyandi” for using a body double in scenes depicting her character in a sensual manner.
