UK-based Zane Thadani ‘encountered’ Karan Johar on a boulevard in London and shared a clip of their engagement that finished with the director strolling off.
“What do I address him?” TikToker Zane Thadani asked in a recent video as he collided with director Karan Johar in London. He ultimately dubbed him ‘uncle’ and nearly got away with it as the director himself took to Instagram Stories to repost the unmarked clip, penning, “Was pleased meeting you Zane.”

Zane pursued Karan down as the director lingered with some ladies and their offspring near an avenue in the UK metropolis. Zane exclaimed excitedly that he had just encountered Karan Johar, expressing his amazement by repeatedly saying “Oh my Gosh” and addressing the people around him. What do I address him? KJo? Karan? Karan Johar? Mr. Johar? Mr. Karan?”
He then approached Karan, who was attired in blue, and managed to get him to appear in the clip with him. As Karan pouted and posed, Zane chuckled covering his visage and said tapping Karan’s arm, “Hi, uncle!” Karan appeared astonished, inquiring, “Uncle? Did you just address me uncle,” before strolling away.
The caption on Zane’s clip read, “I encountered Karan Johar in London.” He penned in his description, “Thanks for the collaboration uncle…” Curiously, Zane, who boasts 15.5K and 5K admirers on TikTok and Instagram, correspondingly, is followed by star children, actor Suhana Khan and businesswoman Navya Nanda, on Instagram.
