Baahubali: The Beginning is an Indian Telugu-language epic action film that portrays the story of Sivudu, a daring young man who assists his beloved, Avantika, in liberating Devasena, the previous queen of Mahishmati. King Bhallaladeva Imprisoned Devasena under his control in captivity. The film is fundamentally the first member of a duology, with the narrative concluding in Baahubali 2 The Conclusion

Production:
S. S. Rajamouli is the co-writer and director of the movie, which was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works.The tale, conceived by Rajamouli’s father V. Vijayendra Prasad, took inspiration from Indian mythology and narratives from Amar Chitra Katha and Chandamama. The screenplay held for three months to finish.

Both of its budget and box office records were later broken by its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which became the highest-grossing film in India ever.
