Alia Bhatt heightened the anticipation even further by sharing a new poster of the film on her social media, showcasing both her and Vedang Raina. With the teaser trailer scheduled for release tomorrow (September 8), excitement is building among fans.
Earlier today (September 7), Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share the new poster, which has further fueled fans’ eagerness for the teaser. In the poster, Alia is seen sitting in a blue and white striped shirt with Vedang Raina, who plays her sibling, seated on the floor beside her. She has one arm wrapped around him, while the other gently rests on his head, conveying a sense of warmth and care.
As the countdown to tomorrow’s teaser release continues, this poster has only amplified the anticipation.
Alia Bhatt captioned the poster on Instagram with, “Ek hazaaron mein… #JIGRA TEASER TRAILER OUT TOMORROW AT 11 AM.” Karan Johar was quick to react, dropping heart emojis in the comments, while fans flooded the section with compliments. Directed by Vasan Bala and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions alongside Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions, Jigra is slated for a theatrical release on October 11, 2024. Ahead of its release, the teaser was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on September 4, 2024, receiving a ‘UA’ rating and clocking in at 2 minutes and 52 seconds.
As for Alia Bhatt’s other projects, she’s also working on Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, where she stars alongside Sharvari Wagh. The duo recently completed filming in Kashmir for YRF’s spy thriller. Additionally, Alia is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, where she will share the screen with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
