Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter, who made their Bollywood debut together with “Dhadak” in 2018, are reportedly set to reunite for a new project by Neeraj Ghaywan. While Janhvi is busy filming “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” alongside Varun Dhawan, she has also allocated time to be part of Khatter’s yet-to-be-titled film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Janhvi is slated to make a 10-day cameo in Ghaywan’s upcoming film. When approached by Karan Johar and Neeraj Ghaywan, Janhvi was enthusiastic about the opportunity, given her respect for their work. She is eager to reconnect with her debut co-star, Ishaan Khatter.
The movie is expected to feature two lead male actors, and discussions are ongoing to finalize the additional cast. The film’s storyline focuses on the bond between two friends, with a distinct treatment and tone compared to Neeraj Ghaywan’s “Masaan.” The project is anticipated to release in the latter half of 2025.

On the professional front, Janhvi’s recent appearance was in “Ulajh,” directed by Sudhanshu Saria, alongside Gulshan Devaiah. Despite the excitement surrounding it, the film did not fare well at the box office. Currently, she is working on “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” which also stars Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi, scheduled for an April 18, 2025 release. She will also be seen in “Devara: Part 1” with Jr NTR, where Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist, set to release on September 27, 2024.
