The critically acclaimed Bollywood film Andhadhun, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, Radhika Apte, and Anil Dhawan, has completed six years since its release on October 5, 2018. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the movie continues to be celebrated, with fans eagerly hoping for a sequel. To mark the occasion, Ayushmann and Tabu both shared their excitement on social media.
Ayushmann posted a video on Instagram, featuring animated versions of key characters and symbols from the film, accompanied by the song “Laila Laila.” The text in the video read, “Celebrating six years of Andhadhun.” In the caption, Ayushmann wrote, “6 years have passed, but the suspense is still alive! #6YearsOfAndhadhun.”

Tabu also took to Instagram, sharing a poster of the movie and tagging the cast and crew, with clap emojis in the caption to express her joy.
Fans flooded the comments with praise for the film and requests for a sequel. One fan suggested, “End the suspense in Andhadhun Chapter 2,” while others mentioned, “Deserves a sequel” and “Waiting for the second part.”
Andhadhun, a dark comedy crime thriller about a blind piano player, won both audience and critical acclaim for its storyline, performances, and music. The film earned three National Film Awards, including Best Hindi Feature Film and Best Screenplay, while Ayushmann Khurrana won Best Actor.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is working on a new vampire film within the Maddock Supernatural Universe, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, where he will be starring alongside Rashmika Mandanna.
