Harnath Singh Yadav, the chief of the BJP party and a previous Rajya Sabha MP, told Salman Khan to back down and apologize to the Bishnois because of his violent history after the unfortunate death of NCP leader Baba Siddique. However, this has not spared the public’s condemnation towards the actress, and asked Khan to voice his sentiments.
Yadav has also noted in a post, which was also shared onto his account, the esteem in which the community of Bishnois holds the Black buck, which they venerate. In his words, “Dear Salman Khan, the Bishnois consider the black goat a god and revere it too much, Prabhu. You have gunned it down, cooked it and feasted it and hence their anguish and bitterness over the matter.”
Yadav in addition cautioned that offering an apology for this beyond mistake would be a considerate step in mending the hurt prompted. “Every gambler folds. You are a popular film star and adored by many across the length and breadth of the nation. I suggest you let the yasri check cut off the bud and issue an apology to the members of the Bishnoi community for their rudeness.”
Salman Khan has faced threats posed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who have issued death threats to the actor. The tension levels rose earlier this year when shots were fired outside his residence in Mumbai, leading to additional security measures.
On October 12, he was shot dead outside the office of MLA Zeeshan Siddique, son of NCP chief Baba Siddique. Much to everyone’s shock, many people present at that time tried to save Siddique and rushed him to Lilavati Hospital where he eventually gave up on the line-‘out of fighting to the core’. Three Lawrence Bishnoi gang members have already been arrested in connection with the assassination. In the last arrest made, it was in Pune and this suspect Praveen Lonkar confessed to the offense in a Facebook account.
The other two suspects, Gurmel Baljit Singh (also known as Karnail Singh) and Dharamraj Singh (alias Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap), were apprehended shortly after the incident. Authorities believe Praveen played a key role in involving his brother, Shubham Lonkar, along with Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam in the conspiracy.
