Former actress and now women’s rights activist Somi Ali has approached gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to call him zoom. Somi in the U.S. took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a picture of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in the Sabarmati Central Jail.
In her Instagram post, she addressed Bishnoi, writing, “Namaste, Lawrence bhai. I’ve heard and seen that you’re conducting Zoom calls even from jail, and I would like to speak with you. Please let me know how we can arrange this. Rajasthan is my favorite place, and I want to visit your temple for a prayer. But before that, let’s have a Zoom conversation. Trust me, it’s in your best interest. Please share your phone number; I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you.”
Somi’s early passion for Bishnois: After her break-up with Salman Khan in 1999, Somi moved to the US from Mumbai. and has since visited despite claiming a close relationship with the prophet, coming to his defense on several occasions In an interview with Hindustan Times in May, Somi addressed the long-running controversy over the black goat kidnapping involving Salman Khan.
She stated, “If you’re trying to take someone’s life or shooting at them, you’ve crossed a serious line. While I don’t support hunting, this incident happened many years ago when Salman was much younger. I want to ask the head of the Bishnoi tribe to move on from this and forgive him. If he made a mistake, I apologize on his behalf.”

She continued, “Taking someone’s life is never the answer, whether it’s Salman Khan or an ordinary person. If you seek justice, take it to court. I have full confidence in India’s judicial system, just as I do in America’s. I urge the Bishnoi community to understand that harming Salman Khan won’t bring back the blackbuck. What’s done is done; let’s leave the past behind.”
