Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Collects Rs 6.15 crore in Second Weekend, Surpasses Rs 30 crore
The comedy-drama wrapped up its first week with Rs 25.35 crore in India. During its second weekend, it added another Rs 6.15 crore, pushing its total beyond the Rs 30 crore mark. It kicked off the second week by earning Rs 1.40 crore on Day 8, followed by Rs 2.25 crore on Day 9, and thereafter on Day 10 of Rs 2.50 crore.
With these numbers, the total domestic earnings for Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video now stand at Rs 31.50 crore.
Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Aiming for Rs 40 Crore Finish Domestically
Despite receiving mixed reviews from audiences, the film has about 10-11 days to attract viewers before Diwali releases, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, hit theaters. The film is expected to conclude its theatrical run around the Rs 40 crore mark in India. For comparison, Rajkummar Rao’s previous films Srikanth and Mr. and Mrs. Mahi collected Rs 47 crore and Rs 35 crore, respectively.
While Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video was released alongside the larger-budget Jigra starring Alia Bhatt, it managed to hold its own, becoming the preferred choice during the Dussehra release window. Given Rajkummar Rao’s overall box office history, the film has performed reasonably well, excluding the exception of Stree 2, which benefited from the popularity of the Stree franchise and Maddock Films’ well-established horror-comedy universe.

About Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Trailer
Set in 1997, the film follows Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and Vidya (Triptii Dimri), a newlywed couple who decide to make an intimate video on their honeymoon in Goa.
