Previously, Vidya teased Kartik about a mysterious woman he’s always talking to on the phone, but in a recent interview with News18, she subtly hinted that he’s currently single.

At a media event, Kartik recently received a heartfelt proposal from a fan who read him a poem. Commenting on it, Vidya noted how much Kartik enjoys female attention, saying, “Anyone who claims they don’t like attention is lying, especially actors, male actors, and Kartik Aaryan! No way! He enjoys it, and he should. He’s definitely not shy about it.” Kartik responded with a smile, “When did I say I hate attention? I love it, whether it’s from men or women.”

Vidya burst into laughter at his reply, cheekily adding, “Well, it looks like he’s open to everything now!” When asked for relationship advice for Kartik, she humorously suggested, “The only advice I’d give him is to get into a relationship!”

Vidya also shared that breaking the ice with Kartik was effortless, recalling her first meeting with him. She said, “I first met him at an award function, and it was memorable. My manager told me her niece was a huge fan of Kartik, especially after Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, and asked me to get a photo or video. So, I walked right up to him and, without introductions, asked him to do a clip. It felt like I’d known him forever! Later, I realized what I’d done, so I went back, greeted him, and told him I enjoyed his film. But he has this easygoing charm that makes you feel instantly familiar.”

When asked what quality she admires most in Kartik, Vidya said, “I admire Kartik’s deep involvement in all aspects of filmmaking. I don’t have that same patience. I often think, ‘There are people for that,’ but Kartik dives into every detail, including understanding box office dynamics better than I do.
