Film Details Sangharshyoddha Manoj Jarange Patil (UA) Marathi Production: Sonai Film Creation Director: It is a cinematic adaptation of the life history of an activist belonging to the Maratha community Manoj Jarange Patil, who has been highly instrumental in raising the voice against the upliftment of society and reservation.

Story:
Govardhan Doltade has written the story. It’s based on a current incident in Patil’s life, which we see very often on the news channel. That might make this story a little cliché. The screenplay seems pretty ordinary and could not make much noise about the movie. The dialogues are also by Nikam and serviceable but add nothing to the drama.

Performances
Rohan Patil shines as Manoj Jarange Patil, bringing a depth into that character. Sandeep Pathak is okay, playing a friend of Manoj, called Janya and Sagar Karande is likewise adequate, as another friend – Sagar. Veteran hero Mohan Joshi is similarly reasonable in support as father to Manoj, whilst Srinivas Pokle leaves his mark in another brief appearance, this time as the son of Manoj. Arbaaz Sheikh acts as a news reporter in an average capacity; however, Surabhi Hande as Manoj’s wife, Somnath Awaghade as Kisna, and Madhav Abhyankar play well in their roles. The rest of the cast completes their part to a satisfactory level.

Direction and Technical Aspects
The direction given by Shivaji Doltade is not spectacular and depictures an average level through the movie. Music by Vijay Narayan Gawande, Chinar-Mahesh, and Rohit Nagbhide is not so unusual. Lyrics Mangesh Kangane, Vaibhav Deshmukh, and Sonali Hawle Patil are all so monotonous in the same ancient rhythm. Choreography by Rohan Kandera and Manasi Kowale is quite efficiently done; however, one can very well see an unexposed passion to the fullest. Background music by Avi Lohar produces no great effect. Cinematography is not up to the mark due to lack of imagination according to Krishna Naikar. Satisfactory art direction by Mahesh Kore and Sachin Patil. Amit Javalkar’s editing was not quite sharp enough.

Conclusion

In short, Sangharshyoddha Manoj Jarange Patil is an altogether pretty run-of-the-mill film that never really does anything interesting that would make one remember the film.

Release Information
It released on 14 June 2024, at Plaza with a daily show, and elsewhere in Bombay by August Entertainment. Marketing was pretty good, but the opening was quite dull.
