Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh has become the centre of interest on the internet after a video of him interrupting his Ahmedabad concert went viral. In the short clip, Diljit is heard speaking to the people attending the concert from a balcony of a nearby hotel without valid tickets, thereby breaking the rules.

In the midst of a song, Diljit demanded a pause in the music by his crew and said, “Those sitting in the hotel balcony, you all are the winners. This hotel is very smart. No tickets, right?”

He then happily continued the show with the song ‘Lemonade’ while playfully waving at the hotel crowd, making the moment even more entertaining.

There have been diverse responses to the video over the internet. One user jokingly wrote, “They went over budget with more than the ticket price.” Another user added, “The ground also owns that hotel.” A funny reply said, “Next time let‘s rent the whole hotel,” Next comment read, “That hotel charges around 1 lakh Rupee for a day.”

Diljit’s performance in Ahmedabad was an addition to his ongoing Dil-Luminati Tour. His next stops include Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30 and Bengaluru on December 6. The tour will also include shows in Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14 and will wrap up with the last show in Guwahati on December 29.
