In an interview, Manali reminisces about their first meeting at the Mumbai airport as she was returning from a vacation. She described Dilip as “tall, dark, and handsome,” and vividly recalled telling her mother about him down to the detail of his shirt.

They have one boy and one girl child. The boy, Nakul Vengsarkar, is an interior designer-turned professional architect. Pallavi Vengsarkar is the girl child. She has been modeling as well.

Manali started her journey into the business world at the age of 18. She opened a factory that manufactured fine leather accessories. She sent these to Germany, Australia, and Italy for export.
When Manali was 20 years old, she married Dilip. Dilip wanted that Manali should devote most of her time to home and family. As Dilip suggested, Manali gave up all her business activities. Her factory folded up because of that. However, after some time Manali again found designing. She did a course on jewel designing and manufacturing. Within some time, she launched her very own jewelry lines.

Manali’s husband, Dilip Vengsarkar, was a key player in the historic 1983 Cricket World Cup-winning Indian team.
This victory was immortalized in the Hindi film ’83’, where Marathi actor Adinath Kothare portrayed Dilip’s role. The film celebrates the achievements of the 1983 Indian cricket team and its players, including Dilip.
